Does your New Year’s resolution involve losing weight? Try these three things from Healthline to help you start off 2021 with a bang:

  • Restrict sugars and starches. Your hunger and insulin levels will go down, enabling your body to burn body fat and lose water weight.
  • Build meals around protein, healthy fat and vegetables. This will boost your metabolism up to around 100 calories each day.
  • Do cardio…and weights. This will further boost your metabolism, and counteract your body’s instinct to slow it down as you lose weight.
