One of the common complaints about clean eating, or just eating healthy in general, is bland taste. Plain steamed broccoli, anyone?
Here are four ingredients to try with your healthy foods next time to spice them up, courtesy of Shape:
- Pickle juice. If you already like pickles, you’ll totally get this.
- Pomegranate molasses. Now to something you probably haven’t heard of. Add this sweet and tangy flavor to your next salad.
- Smoked salt. Add a pinch of this to that steamed broccoli.
Eating healthy and enjoying it is possible. It just takes a little creativity!
