Fast Fitness: Rock the Side Abs
As I mentioned on the air today, if you haven’t started already, it’s time to start working on that summer body if you’re going for the chiseled look by Memorial Day. We’re only a little more than two months away!
One of the things that makes your abs look great is that side sculpting. Unfortunately, one of the best ways to get these is an even harder version of planks called the sweep plank. The good news is that, if done right, they definitely work. Here are the steps, courtesy of Women’s Health:
- Get in pushup position with arms completely straight
- Raise your left knee to your right elbow
- Hold your knee for a moment, then lower and repeat. For an even deeper burn, lower your leg more slowly than you raised it
