Chinese Kissing Device Mimic Real Kisses, Allows Long-Distance Couples To Maintain Intimacy

Have you ever been in a long distance relationship and longed for the warm kisses of your significant other? No worries, there is a solution to overcome the challenges of only being able to communicate to phone calls and Facetime. A gadget for remote kissing is being promoted as a means for long-distance couples to keep up their physical connection. The contraption with silicon lips has pressure sensors and actuators and can mimic a real kiss! I do not know if I find this genius, funny or just plain creepy!

The Chinese device is creating quite a commotion online and according to CNN, the device has warm, movable silicon "lips" that simulate a real kiss through movement, pressure, and the temperature of the user's lips. It can convey kissing sounds in addition to the feel of a kiss.

Users download an app and plug their phone into the charging port to kiss. After pairing with the partner on the app, they then video contact their lover via the app. Users can then send duplicate kisses. The device's developer, Jiang Zhongli, told China's state-run Global Times that his college long-distance relationship inspired it.

In 2016, the Imagineering Institute in Malaysia had launched a similar device named ‘Kissinger’, in the form of a touch-sensitive silicon pad, CNN reported. There is a bit of a difference with Kissinger, which I find it to be extremely creepy! Kissinger allows users to pair up with strangers and exchange kisses - Yuk!
