Ashley Furniture Recalling Sofas, Recliners Due To Fire Hazard

Ashley Furniture is recalling more than 250,000 sofas, love seats, and recliners over a fire hazard. I love all the modern day conveniences that are now introduced into our furniture such as the the charging ports and LED lighting. Unfortunately, the more electronic features there are, the more problems it can lead to.

The CPSC says LED cupholders in the 'Party Time Power' line of furniture can potentially catch fire. What is the problem with this modern day convenience furniture? Well, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the power loveseats, sofas, and recliners' cupholder with LED lighting can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

The furniture was sold between November 2018 and March 2023.Owners should unplug it immediately and contact Ashley Furniture for a free repair.
