Family Seeks Help to Find Son’s Ashes During Disney Vacation
If you have been on a Disney vacation in Florida over the Spring Break, perhaps you have seen this elephant and would be able to help this desperate family from Iowa. You help is needed if you visited Florida attractions and Disney Springs. They were in Cocoa Beach and stayed at Beachside Resort from April 22-24, Atkinson said. Bruce the elephant accompanied the family on a parasailing trip on April 24.
An Iowa family is “desperate” for help after losing their late son’s ashes during a Disney vacation. The Atkinson family brought along the ashes of Gabryel, who was born with a chromosome abnormality and died just before his 8th birthday. Liz, the mother, says the ashes were kept inside a stuffed toy elephant Gabryel was given as an infant.
The family visited Disney Springs and other Florida attractions in April – but when they returned home the elephant was nowhere to be found. According to Today now Liz Atkinson is looking for help on Facebook, posting a photo of the elephant and begging for help from anyone who might have seen it.
