With the cost of travel being so high you want to make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck and we’re right there with you, that’s why we’ve put together this list of our top ten spots in New Jersey that you can use for your next photo shoot, from parks to piers all ready for you to explore.

1. Stairway to Heaven Appalachian Trail – Vernon Township NJ

This trail is well known for being a tough climb with the average person taking nearly two hours to walk the whole trail, but it’s also a well know spot for beautiful Instagram posts. With bridges to pass you can fully take in nature as well as the sunset looking over the forest. You may also be able to see our New York neighbors as the line isn’t that far away. So, if you want to take a selfie and feel like you’re the king of the world, Vernon Township might be the place for you.

2. Pier 13 & Hoboken Waterfront – Hoboken NJ

Over the valley and through the woods to NYC we go. As we move from nature to where all the action happens at Pier 13 in Hoboken plenty of shops and people chose this spot as their last stop before entering the city, so you’ll be able to snag a ton of photos of you showing off your best. Though of course you’ll be close to New York so it may be crowded by the time you get there.

3. Grounds for Sculpture – Hamilton NJ

One of our semifinalists for New Jersey’s Tankful Trips this park shakes it up with beautiful sculptures and ponds that are just waiting for you to take a picture of, however the fun doesn’t end there are you have two onsite cafés to choose from where if showing off your meals is your thing then snap, eat and enjoy.

4. Sandbox at Seastreak – Highlands NJ

This beautiful beachside has everything to offer from food and drinks to live and local entertainment with plenty of photo opportunities either on the beach or at one of the special events like whale watching. Nothing can go wrong with a little fun in the sun at this location.

5. Delaware Water Gap (Mt. Tammany) - Knowlton Township NJ

Back in nature we get to visit our friends from Delaware this time as you take pictures alongside the mountainous water gap, while your best shot of the water comes from Mt. Tammany, this is also considered one of the best hiking trails in the Garden State so if you do choose this spot for your next photo shoot be prepared to run into some people along your path.

6. Downtown Montclair – Montclair NJ
