It's "National Cosmo Day!"
I only caught on to drinking cosmos AFTER Carrie Bradshaw made them popular, so I was late to the party, but I have been drinking them now for about 10 years, and it's my go to drink whether I go out, or I'm home! My friends all tease me that I have the "drink pose" down, and, as you can see from the pictures, I love to take pictures of my drink glasses, too.

Here's the recipe--I prefer Cointreau, but you can use Triple Sec if you want-- just don't do both!
I also like a teaspoon of St Germain, which is optional!
- 1 1/2 ounce of Vodka
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce of either Triple Sec OR Cointreau
- 1/2 ounce Cranberry juice
- Teaspoon of St Germain (Optional)
- Orange twist for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled, and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist! It's easy and delicious! Cheers!
