This Christmas season has kicked off to a great start with all your favorite holiday hits being played, though what is New Jersey’s favorite Christmas song? Well for us over here at Magic we held a vote to our listeners and to nobodies surprise Mariah Carey was chosen as our Queen of Christmas and was the first song of our switch to Christmas music.
According to FianceBuzz however, she was not only not the Queen of New Jersey… but also not chosen as the top song in any state in America! In fact “All I Want For Christmas” did rank top at something, it just so happen to be the ranked as the most annoying song according to the study. While the classic 1953 “Santa Baby” was the most loved song in America with eight states choosing it.

Onto New Jersey’s pick we chose Underneath The Tree by Kelly Clarkson as New Jersey’s Top Christmas song. Alongside us were our neighbors in New York as well as Ohio and Connecticut. other songs like “Jingle Bell Rock,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad.” Interestingly enough Feliz Navidad was one of the top songs and listed as one of the most annoying. This just goes to show that some may love it while others may not. Though I think we can all mostly agree that Dominick The Donkey should be on the list for most annoying!
