A Christmas movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger = My all time favorite!
Around this time of year, there is nothing better then sitting in front of your television and binge watching all your favorite Christmas movies. Many like the classics such as, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Santa Clause Is Coming To Town & of course A Christmas Story. But for some reason I have always enjoyed the movies many people never talk about. And my all time favorite Christmas movie would have to be Jingle All The Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The movie is all about Harold (Arnold Schwarzenegger ) looking for the action figure “Turbo Man” which his son Jamie (Jake Lloyd) wants really badly. The only thing about this is the fact that the toy is the most sought after Christmas gift of the year and Harold, (like many of us do) waited until Christmas eve to get the toy. All the stores are sold out so Harold must go one a mission to find it. From chasing a kid down in a mall play house, breaking into a radio station, attempting to swipe it from his neighbor, he literally tries everything. I wont go into much more detail about what happens, because I don’t want to spoil it for you if you want to see it.
But to be honest, the plot of the story isn’t why this is my all time favorite Christmas movie. It’s the lines Arnold says in the movie. For example, There is a scene when Harold’s neighbor is at the house while he is out Christmas shopping and his neighbor is eating all the Christmas cookies. This forces Harold to say my all time favorite line in the whole movie, “PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN….NOW!”
