Study Reveals Most Popular Coffee Drink in New Jersey
National Cappuccino Day has come upon us again. Doesn’t it seem like National Cappuccino Day was just here?
Every year on the 8th of November we celebrate the delicious Italian drink that, believe it or not, has been around for almost two hundred years. In a new study, Betway reports on which coffee drinks are most popular. More specifically, which coffee drinks each state prefers across the country.
For instance, Iced Coffee is the most popular throughout America, with Latte the most-searched-for coffee drink in 30 states, including Pennsylvania, California, New York, and Texas. Cappuccino landed in second place as the most-searched-for coffee drink in 8 states, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
I’m a former coffee drinker. I couldn’t pass a convenience store without stopping in to grab a cup. I drink tea now. Most people think I quit drinking coffee for health reasons, but that’s not the case. I switched to tea many years ago simply because it’s easier. I just need some hot water and a tea bag, and not need to brew a whole pot. Plus, my wife is also a tea drinker so that makes it easier as well.
The study says, “The data also reveals some interesting regional trends. For example, latte is particularly popular in the West Coast and Northeast regions of the country. Cappuccino is more popular in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.” Additionally, Americano is more popular in the Southwest and Mountain regions.
“There are a few reasons why latte is the most popular coffee drink in the United States. First, it is a versatile drink that can be enjoyed hot or cold.” Also, lattes are a drink that can be customized for your individual taste. We use different types of milk and syrups so it suits our individual preferences. And depending on where you live, there are lots of coffee shops that make lattes that are pretty affordable.
Happy National Cappuccino Day!
