New Jersey Woman Thought She Was Going To Florida, Ends Up In Jamaica
Inside Edition says Beverly Ellis-Hebard, from New Jersey, recently boarded a Frontier Airlines flight at Philadelphia International Airport that she thought was bound for Jacksonville, Florida. She had arrived at Philadelphia’s airport and checked in for her flight to Jacksonville. The flight changed gates. Beverly considers herself a seasoned traveler but the New Jersey woman had a very big surprise recently when she learned, after the plane had taken off, that she was really headed to Jamaica. Yes, unfortunately for Bev she boarded a flight to Jamaica. To make matters worse, not only was she going to the wrong destination, she had no passport. Jamaican authorities allowed her to remain in the airport until she could board a flight back to Philadelphia International Airport. She turned around and hopped on a return flight after realizing her mistake upon landing. A spokesperson for Frontier says, “We extend our utmost apologies to Beverly Ellis-Hebard for this unfortunate experience. As a gesture of our apology, we have issued a $600 Frontier Airlines flight voucher tied to the name Beverly Ellis-Hebard that is valid for one year.”
