New Jersey earned an Overall Ranking of 2nd place with a score of 62.01 only being beaten by Massachusetts by .64 points. Now New Jersey ranked quite high in some important categories such as safety in which we took the gold at #1. Our Education and Quality of Health were also high according to the charts as we ranked 5th and 7th respectively.
With stats like these in mind, it’s no wonder that we also had some scores for the lowest crime rate coming in 3rd, we also ranked 7th for smaller things like the number of restaurants per Capita. New Jerseyans are also working a lot harder as we came in 16th for average weekly work hours. Of course, not all of our scores were perfect while we crushed it in education and safety. New Jersey fell behind when it came to important matters like Affordability, in which we ranked 48th despite being ranked 28th for income growth.
While New Jersey did well other states like Mississippi and Alaska ranked quite low overall, so based on these numbers would you move or stay in New Jersey? If you do or don’t, we hope you take us with you wherever you go as we continue to bring you today’s hits and yesterday’s favorites.
