Quiz bowl is a fast-paced buzzer competition in which teams of four compete to answer questions that go beyond what they learn in a traditional classroom on topics including literature, science, popular culture, current events and more. It’s often referred to as “the Super Bowl of the mind” and is arguably much harder than Jeopardy. In fact, many people who have competed on Jeopardy participated in quiz bowl when they were younger.
