Top 7 Summer Cocktails
Summer time is upon us which means barbecues, beach, and pool time should be the top three things on your agenda. But what would all of the outdoor fun be without the appropriate cocktails to add the cherry on top of your summer days? Check out some my favorite summer cocktails that I crave when the sun is high in the sky.
Mojito
Mojito is a classic summer drink that is in its prime because mint leaves are freshest during the summer months. It has a touch of sweet but is not too heavy on the stomach. Feeling a little wild? Mix up your mojito with a tropical flavor such as strawberry, mango, or pineapple!
Pina Colada 
Frozen, not on the rocks. Who on earth would not love a blended pineapple delight in your hand while you soak up the sun on the beach? Just grab the rum and get ready to have some fun.
Strawberry Daiquiri
This is another cup of frozen fun that will definitely win you strawberry fans over. It is frozen so it is another cocktail perfect to have while relaxing in the pool!
Miami Vice
Love Pina Coladas? Strawberry Daquiries too? Well now you do not have to decide! This drink consists of half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri! It may be a bit of a pain to make but in the end, it will be totally worth it.
Sangria
This counts as your daily intake of fruit, right? There are so many different recipes depending on your personal taste that it is impossible not to find one that you love while hanging out in the sun. Feeling festive? Add blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple to your sangria for a red, white, and blue theme for the 4th of July!
Coronarita
If you love the typical margarita, that means it is time to take it up a notch for the summer by adding a corona to the mix! The drink will be a tad less sweet and has quite the presentation. There is also room to add various flavors so your coronarita has just the right amount of pizzazz!
Lemonade Mimosas
This very simple little delight only takes two ingredients, lemonade and champagne. It is perfect for a relaxing Sunday Funday on your porch or some needed gossip time with gal pals. It’s light, it’s sweet, and it bubbles!
