Survey Reveals New Jersey’s Lucky Number, Color, Month, and Day
I’m not as superstitious as I used to be. I used to rely on the number eleven, and always wear my lucky blue shirt when I felt it was necessary.
A new survey from Casinos.com has revealed how you can maximize your luck by adopting the nation’s luckiest numbers, days, colors, and even items of clothing.
According to the survey, 30% of Americans believe that a number can bring you good luck. 26% of people claimed that 7 was their lucky number. The survey also revealed that 12 p.m. on a Friday in March is the Luckiest Time of the Year.
They even paired it down to specific states. The research revealed the following for us in New Jersey.
Red is our luckiest color, 7 is our luckiest number, September is our luckiest month of the year, Friday is our luckiest day of the week, and sweatshirts are our luckiest item of clothing
The survey asked Americans about their luckiest number, color, item of clothing, and more. It’s worth a try to incorporate these lucky things into your life.
When it comes to which color Americans find to be luckiest, Blue was the winner with 24% of the vote, followed by Green (15%) and Purple (13%). Fourth and fifth place found Red claiming 10% of the vote and Black 7%.
For America’s luckiest number, the famous “lucky number 7” was the overwhelming victor with 26% of respondents stating that it was their personal lucky number. In second place was number 3 with 8% of the total vote, and number 5 completed the list of lucky numbers with 7% of the vote.
When asked which day of the week they felt was the luckiest, 22% of Americans said that Friday brought the most luck, with Saturday in second place with 13%. Wednesday (11%), Thursday (8%), Sunday (7%) and Tuesday (6%) all followed after.
In terms of which month is the luckiest according to Americans, some Pisces and Aries should feel luckiest as March was revealed to be the luckiest month of the year with 8.2% of the vote. In second place was May with 7.8% and in third place was July with 7.6%.
When it comes to deciding what to wear, America is undecided as to whether a Sweatshirt or a T-Shirt is the luckiest item with both claiming 12% of the vote. In third place and according to 9% of Americans, a lucky pair of jeans are the go-to garment.
