You’ll Never Believe What NJ’s Favorite Ice Pop Flavor Is
Nothing is better than grabbing a nice refreshing ice pop after a long day and noticeably hot day, with Labor Day weekend quickly approaching you’re gonna wanna get in that last-second summer feeling but an important question to ask is which flavor are New Jerseyans more prone to? Well thanks to a survey conducted by Shane Co. on over 2000 Americans, we now have some of the most important answers that may just shock you.
Well, one discovery is that just like with the whole pork roll/Taylor ham debate, the U.S. is divided on what to call the frozen icon. Jersey’s name is only joined by a few other states like Florida in calling it an Ice pop, which is obviously the best choice, but not surprising is the 1st place choice just calling it a Popsicle, while the names Freeze Pop and Otter Pop are tied for 2nd.
Another more comedic discovery is that a majority of those surveyed call Ice Pops by their color rather than their flavor, which admittedly I also do and I’m not sure why. Now for which flavor reigns supreme, as it turns out Blue Raspberry is not only New Jersey’s favorite flavor, it is the most preferred flavor in America, by a number of states. Cherry is my second choice and my personal favorite with the other flavors only having a handful of states tossing their coin to the other flavors. Now it seems some adults are turning these childhood treats into a boozy delight. The most likely addition is Vodka.
So, what is your favorite Ice Pop flavor and just how much did you align with this national survey? As we shift gears from Summer to Autumn, you can never go wrong with a frozen treat, unless it’s in the Winter of course.
