Last Night’s Tony Awards Goes To:
- Last night, the stars of the stage had their big night at the Tony Awards ceremony.
- The stage play “Hadestown” had a heavenly night at the show and picked up eight awards that included best new musical and a win for the best director who happened to be a female.
- Elaine May, Santino Fontana, and Stephanie J. Block each won their first Tony Award while Bryan Cranston picked up his second Tony Award.
- The special moment of the night went to Ali Stroker as she became the first actor in a wheelchair to win a Tony Award for her role in “Oklahoma!”
