I honestly think my dogs are extremely smart and in tune with what is going on in the human world.  They seem to know when we are happy and seem to be like velcro when we are sad in their effort to comfort us. It has been documented that dogs can catch their owner's emotions.  Dogs are able to read our body language; that's why they know when we're in a bad mood, happy, tired, and whatever else we may be feeling.

Just like babies and dogs, cats form a deep emotional bond with the humans living around them, according to new research.  Even cats that disappear from your home for hours on end depend on you more than you may know. Researchers at Oregon State University have established evidence that suggests that cats form unique, complex, and deeply emotional relationships with their owners. Their study's results provide new evidence that cats are far from the uninterested beings that many consider them to be.

Philadelphia pet psychic Nikki Vasconez tells the Daily Mirror that dogs and cats know exactly how long they are going to live. "Animals choose the day they pass - the exact time, the exact way. I talked to a cat, Smokey, who was still alive, but not doing well and his humans wanted me to ask him if he was ready to pass, if he wanted assistance. He said 'I am ready to leave my physical body now but I was not ready last week'. He said 'there's something important that I wanted to be a part of that happened last week'. The humans later told me that last week was their 15th wedding anniversary and Smokey has been with them for every single anniversary and even their wedding. So, I think animals and humans come into this life with their death date predetermined, according to some higher power or greater source energy.''
