Cardi B Has a Haircare Secret That Will Fill Your Eyes With Tears

I don't know about you, but I am always looking for the next beauty regimen to make me beautiful and glamorous! I especially love DIY recipes because it not only saves you money, but it is usually made with ingredients that you readily have on hand.

The latest trend that I have to try comes from Cardi B. It consists of boiling onions and then washing your hair with the onion water to promote hair growth and shine.

She shared her beauty secret on Instagram and in just an hour, the post had racked up over 970 thousand likes!  Onion water to create shine and promote hair growth?! If it works for her, I figure it has to work for us, right?

What makes me so convinced this will work? According to Healthline, onions actually have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, which researchers have suggested can help your hair grow and enhance its health.
