Pitbull Rocks PNC and Pays Homage To a New Jersey Legend
The man the myth the legend Pitbull rocked PNC Bank Arts Center with his Can’t Stop Us Now Tour.
With an opening act from Iggy Azalea, it’s no wonder the crowds quickly began dancing and singing along to every song by Mr. Worldwide. However, while the hit artist was on stage, he paid a special homage to one of Jersey’s most well-known artists with a heartfelt message.
Halfway through the rapper’s set, he took a minute to thank the crowd as he has done countless times before, going on to say that without his fans there would be no opportunity to thank them for all they’ve given him.
He also gave a huge shoutout to iconic Rock N Roll Hall of Famer and New Jersey native Bon Jovi, even going as far as to play a few seconds of one of his most well-known hits “Livin’ on a Prayer” before kicking it back up with some of his own hits.
Having the crowd going wild, Pitbull pulled out all the stops with songs like “Fireball” and “Give Me Everything” as well as some of his Spanish hits like “Bon Bon” and “Discoteca,” however during his breaks Pitbull made it clear to fans that it didn’t matter what language you speak because you can still understand music and the feelings, going off to take about race as well saying that we are one race the human race.
The rapper is known for his stance of being humble and giving off positive energy and PNC was no exception. Now moving on from New Jersey after performing at Camden and Holmdel he’s moving across the water to our New York neighbors though his tour has only just begun.
