Study Shows Plastic Surgery Trends in New Jersey
Plastic surgery seems to be the trend no matter what state or country you live in. In a recent study conducted by LilacSt.com, they uncovered the preferences of individuals seeking cosmetic procedures in 2024. The research concentrates on countries with the highest rates of plastic surgery and the most sought-after cosmetic procedures.
In the United States, 6.2 million people search for cosmetic surgeries. According to the findings in this study, the top choice among Americans is breast augmentation, 2.6 million people are doing online searches for this procedure alone! This procedure comes with what I consider a hefty price tag, between $3,800 and $8,000.
What’s Going on In New Jersey
Those of us living in New Jersey are a diverse group of people with unique preferences. Aside from breast augmentation, we prefer eyelid surgery and liposuction. The diverse population of the state may contribute to a choice of cosmetic preferences. When it comes to breast surgery, who can argue that achieving a fuller or more proportionate bust can make a positive impact on our self-esteem and body image?
Like me, people in New Jersey find facial features an important part of not only their looks but also their confidence. I always thought of getting a nose job (rhinoplasty), as many of my friends also considered it from time to time. Who wouldn’t want to improve the appearance of their nose? I would love to have a nose like Megan Fox, it’s the perfect shape and size – and yes, she had her’s done! I feel like noses and teeth are what we focus on when we have a conversation with someone.
Liposuction is important to many women after pregnancy. Some women experience body changes in their shape and find it difficult to lose the fat that they gained during their pregnancy. Liposuction can help restore that pre-pregnancy body. Fat just seems to stick to places like the abdomen, thighs, or love handles.
I think it is important not to be judgmental about someone’s choice to undergo plastic surgery. Be your best self and do what makes you happy! – Maryann Morgan
