Pink Takes Number 2 Spot on Impressive List
It’s hard to not be a fan of Pink, not just because of her music, but her vibe, attitude, and the way she looks at life. She grew up not very far from where I was born, she had some challenges, but ultimately achieved success. Her story is truly amazing.
The Pink Summer Carnival tour has now become the second-highest-grossing by a woman in history.
Let’s be honest, it’s not likely that anyone is ever going to rake in more cash than Taylor Swift has on her uber-successful Eras Tour. It’s been reported that Taylor’s tour estimates have grossed more than a billion dollars, but Pink’s tour has come respectfully close to that.
Pink Concert Total Gross
According to Billboard, during her one hundred twenty-eight shows over a year and a half, Pink grossed close to seven hundred million dollars, just under six hundred ninety four million bucks. She sold four point eight million tickets.
The ticket sale figure includes her Summer Carnival tour shows, her Trustfall Tour last year, and her Pink Live 2024 in the fall. That includes all the shows she’s performed for the past two years to the present 2024.
The Summer Carnival tour alone pulled in nearly five hundred and eighty-five million dollars, and that number makes the tour the second highest grossing for any woman.
Pink just passed Beyoncé, who took in just under five hundred eighty million on her Renaissance World Tour. Other top-grossing tours among women are Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour, which ran from 2008 to 2009, and her earlier Beautiful Trauma World Tour, which ran from 2018 to 2019.
Among all artists, The Summer Carnival Tour ranks eighth in terms of revenue. It included five legs across three continents, including twenty-two shows in North America. When it wrapped up on November 20th, she shared on Instagram, “From the bottom of my heart: Thank you all.”
