Woman’s Winning Lotto Ticket Nearly Ended Up In Xmas Card
An Australian woman recently won over $7,000 on a lottery ticket that she bought as a holiday gift. The woman purchased a handful of scratch-off tickets to put in her Christmas cards last month. She was shocked to discover that her one leftover ticket was a big winner.
The unidentified woman says, “I thought I may as well keep it for myself. I was dumbfounded. I was so excited. I couldn’t believe it. I just sat there completely stunned. I could have easily put that ticket in someone’s Christmas card. I felt as though it was really meant to be for me.”
The woman plans to share her winnings with her granddaughter and take a vacation.
