Awesome High Paying Retirement Job for New Jerseyans
It isn’t often your boss sends you information about another job, but mine forwarded this retirement job information to me. I don’t think it’s for me because I’m too young for it, but she thought it would be something that would be good to share with those who may be interested.
My wife and I will sometimes talk about retirement and what we would do when the kids are all grown up and out of the house. We talk about what a good retirement job would look like. We jokingly say that we would move to Florida and be greeters at Disney World. She would love that, but I think I would go crazy if my retirement consisted of saying “Have a magical day” five thousand times a day.
Get Paid to Watch Movies in Retirement
However, I may have found the perfect job for retirement. If you know someone who is retirement age, there’s a company looking for people over the age of sixty-five to watch five-time travel movies. The salary isn’t bad either, they’re offering qualified applicants two hundred dollars for each movie they watch.
So, the big question is, “Why would they do this?” They say it’s because there’s no one better to review time travel movies than the wise elders of the world who have seen it change so much.

Here’s the deal, the folks at Coventry Direct want to find the perfect time travel explorer and are looking for retirement applicants who have the following interests and abilities.
According to their website, the ideal applicant will need to have an appreciation for different time periods. It could be the past like the Stone Age or in the future where artificial intelligence will take over and everyone will live forever because all diseases will be cured.
They’ll also need to be interested in the art of filmmaking, including storytelling, writing, cinematography, acting, and directing. They would need to embrace their sense of adventure to really lose themselves in the stories being told. Another qualification is the ability to pick up on the messages that movies send through their storytelling.
You’re probably wondering what movies you’ll need to watch. I’ve seen four of them. The five movies you’ll need to watch are Back to the Future, The Terminator, Groundhog Day, Doctor Strange, and Interstellar.
Applicants must be age sixty-five years or older and a United States citizen or permanent resident to apply. If you’re not old enough, you can nominate a friend or relative.
