Most believe that the earth is round. To me, there’s no question, but apparently, there are many questions.
People from the state of our state of New Jersey believe that the earth is flat the least out of all the states in the country. With 165,120 Flat Earth searches throughout the last 12 months and 178.40 searches per 10,000 residents.
An unrealistic theory to many people is gripping social media platforms across the United States. According to the study, the Flat Earth theory is gaining more than 4.1 billion views on TikTok alone.
This trending topic has evolved from a niche belief into a theory that many are starting to believe, and recent data reveals surprising insights into the United States with the most Flat Earthers.
The new research conducted over the past 12 months by BetKentucky reveals the states most intrigued by the Flat Earth theory. They ranked each state on searches per 10,000 residents.
According to the study’s findings, Alaska has emerged as the state with the highest number of Flat Earth believers. With a staggering 23,040 Flat Earth searches throughout the last 12 months with 314.33 searches per 10,000 residents, Alaskans have exhibited an exceptional interest in this alternative theory about the shape of our planet.
New York is below the middle of the pack at number 35 on the list. with over 437 thousand searches over the past year, and 224.16 searches per 10,000 residents.
Pennsylvanians ranked higher on the list and have more of a percentage of believers with a ranking of 29. They had over 303 thousand searches over the past year and 234.58 searches per 10,000 residents.
Colorado ranks as the second state with a significant number of believers, recording 183,000 Flat Earth searches. Wyoming closely follows, with 18,120 searches totaling at 310 searches per 10,000 residents.
Washington and Hawaii complete the top five, with 235,680 and 42,120 searches throughout the last 12 months, respectively.
