The mullet is, in my opinion, the worst hairstyle EVER! I say that because in my younger days, I sported the cut, and at the time thought it was the best haircut EVER, everybody did. I didn’t shave the sides as many mullet-sportin’ fellas do, but nevertheless, it was a mullet for sure. I cringe when I see those old photos.

The original mullet? For men, I believe it was David Bowie. For women, it’s got to be Florence Henderson when she had that famous hairdo on The Brady Bunch.

Here’s something that many folks don’t know, there’s a United States of America Mullet Championship. Within the USAMC you can compete in several different categories. There’s the USA Mullet Kids Championship,  the USA Mullet teen Championship, the USA Mullet Men’s Open Championship, and the USA Mullet Femullet Championship which was won last year by New Yorker Cassidy Jenson.

According to mulletchamp.com the hairstyle “has been around since at least Ancient Greece, where the style was as much for function as it was for fashion. Cropped hair around the face with long locks in the back allowed for both visibility and a protective layer of hair for your neck…the Greeks weren’t the only ones sporting the mullet, though. There is evidence that Neanderthals and our oldest ancestors would wear this ‘do, as well.”

To participate in the USA Mullet Championships you need two things…a mullet and ten dollars. Once you check those boxes you can register. I should warn you that no wigs or extensions are permitted. First Prize is the $2500 “Mullet Mega Money Pot,” with the second and third place finishers receiving “Mullet Champs Gift Sets.”

This just in: 6-year-old Rory Ehrlich, of Pennsylvania, is the 2023 Kids Mullet Champion. He beat out 300 other kids and their mullets for the best mullet hairstyle in America. Applications for the men’s competition, which takes place next month, are now being accepted.

Your eyebrows map out your eyes and draw the eyes to your face. Depending on your face shape, eye shape, and personal aesthetic, different eyebrow shapes are better for different people. Different Types of Eyebrows

Each decade has its own typical eyebrow style. Every make-up enthusiast can tell just by looking at brows what era those brows were most popular in. For example, in the ’90s and early 2000s, thin eyebrows made a comeback. This style came from the roaring ’20s, but back then, the tail of the brow would extend way down, past the eye. By the 2010s, brows were arched and overly filled in with eyebrow pencil or shadow. By 2020, everyone was brushing their brow hairs up to show off the natural brow hair length, straight and individually defined. To achieve the look, you could use a brow gel or by applying soap on a wet eyebrow spoolie to hold the hairs in place. This style is still the most popular look today. There has been another surge in the popularity of either no eyebrows, bleached eyebrows, or very thin eyebrows, among the more natural, full, and fluffy looks.

    The Euphoria star wears her eyebrows natural and full, with a soft arch to them. Her almond-shaped eyes are accentuated by the heavier brow, rather than if she were to pair it with a thinner brow, it would make her eyes look smaller. Though Zendaya’s eyebrows are thick, they are well-groomed and give the actress and model an elegant look.

    This may be a video promoting RiRi’s Fenty Beauty mascara, but we can’t help but stare at her eyebrows. The singer’s brows are light in color but have a nice natural shape to them. Rihanna’s eyebrows are perfectly mapped to accentuate her eye shape, with the arch hitting at the right angle, drawing us to her beautiful hazel eyes.
