Pumpkin picking in the pumpkin patch, hay rides, and corn mazes. The fun and excitement of the Barbie Movie is coming to Central Jersey this fall in the shape of a huge corn maze.
According to Happy Day Farm’s website, last “year’s maze celebrates 10 years of happiness.” However, this year’s maze celebrates its 11th year with the amazing Barbie and the happiness it’s brought to the world. This isn't the first time a popular corn maze has been featured in Central Jersey.
Their Instagram page has a picture of a Barbie maze that they’re readying for this fall. It pictures Barbie and Ken with the date 2023. The corn maze features two different paths to choose from that are mowed into the maze.
Visitors can also check out their life-size Barbie boxes, one is pink and says “Barbie,” and the other is blue and says “Ken.”
They’d been celebrating Barbie long before the movie was released. They posed the question “Barbie or Oppenheimer” in a post showing a pink tractor.
And naming one part of their farm “Barbie Way.”
The farm, located in Manalapan, was purchased in 2012 by Tim Stockel. “Farmer Tim” was raised in Manalapan. His family farm includes his wife Olivia, daughter Trinity, and son Liam. About 20 years ago when they owned a Landscaping business, “Tim and his 2-year-old daughter Trinity took a ride to the local hardware store where they purchased pumpkin seeds and planted them on a small section of his 7-acre landscaped property.” This seems to be the start of the family farm, and what may have inspired them to purchase what is the Happy Day Farm today.
If you plan to attend their fall events their website warns, "Due to uneven terrain, we are not wheelchair accessible. We suggest you wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. We have nursing stations, wash stations, and porta-potties throughout the farm."
Margot, Ryan and More: The 5 Hottest ‘Barbie’ Red Carpet Looks
The cast of Greta Gerwig's Barbie took a trip across the pond last night (July 12) for the European premiere in London. As always, the titular star, played by Margot Robbie, blessed us fashion lovers with more Barbie-inspired recreations. Her castmates have had a fantastic run so far as well, playing up the color schemes of the movie and pulling out all the fashion stops. With the commitment to fashion running this deep, we don't ever want the press tours and premieres to ever end.
The film, which debuts in theaters on July 21, features an ensemble cast including Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, America Ferrera, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey, Kate McKinnon, Dua Lipa, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, Hari Nef, Simu Liu, and Ncuti Gatwa. The movie’s soundtrack is just as star-studded, featuring tracks from Charli XCX, Tame Impala, Ice Spice, Lizzo, Pinkpantheress, The Kid LAROI, and Haim. Billie Eilish is the latest artist to be added to the soundtrack with the single "What Was I Made For?" Billie wrote on Instagram that Gerwig showed her and her brother/producer Finneas a handful of unfinished scenes from the film. With no expectations, the Grammy winner said they were "so deeeeeply moved," and the next day, they were writing almost the entire song.
