It’s time now to close your eyes and turn your attention inward. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold for a brief pause then slowly release your breath. Continue to breathe evenly with eyes closed until you feel calm and centered. Then open your eyes and connect with the cards. 24 Random TikTok Essentials You’ll Probably Thank Yourself For Buying
1) 5 in 1 Multifunction Computer/Headphone Cleaning Tools Kit
This is my most recent TikTok purchase (read: it came in the mail this week), and WOW! This thing is awesome. It’s a multifunctional toolkit for your computer keyboard and wireless headphones. It looks like a standard computer keyboard brush, to help you get the crumbs and dust out from behind your keys, but it also comes with a tool that helps you clean out your wireless headphones. I have a pair of AirPods and it helps you get rid of all of the dust and gunk from the headphones in such a fast way.
2) Travel Packing Cubes
Okay, I just got back from a trip and boy are these amazing! Not only did it help keep my suitcase incredibly organized, but it actually helped me sort my big items from my small items. This is an 8-piece packing cube set which means it comes with a variety of bags including one for shoes, toiletries, and several for clothing. Seriously, if you’re a frequent traveler, especially one that flies, you need these.
3) The Mighty Patch
Whatever witchcraft was used to create these I am forever grateful. Do I know why they work really well? No, but I do know that if you have acne or if you’re looking to get rid of a pimple these things are godsent. I’ve taken to keeping a pack of these in my bathroom at all times.
4) Pet Hair Roller
I saw this on several housekeepers’ TikTok accounts and finally decided to try it out. Holy cow, folks. I will always have this in my cleaning supplies from now on. For reference, I have an 80-pound German Shepard mix and 3 domestic shorthair cats. Yeah, it’s a lot of animals. And trust me when I say this thing is better than any vacuum attachment you could buy. It easily gets the hair up and I’m constantly in awe of it.
6) Adjustable Bamboo Drawer Organizers
A few months ago, I needed a cleaning change. My dresser was a mess all the time, and so I turned to TikTok for support. These bamboo drawer organizers were the most recommended product for organizing your drawers.
I have lots of graphic tees, and I needed a way to see everything I had in my drawers so someone suggested the Marie Kondo stacking where the shirts are all visible instead of just a few being visible from the top. These drawer organizers help keep the clothes in line and they really are adjustable, I have a pretty small set of dresser drawers and these fit very well in them.
7) Car Headrest Hooks
This one might be for more of the ladies, but hey if you have a bag it will work for that too. When I bought a new car back in May the first thing I bought for it were these headrest hooks. I am notorious for never knowing where my purse is or throwing it into the backseat and struggling to reach it from the front while I’m in line at the McDonald’s drive-thru (I have short arms). So, that’s where these come in. They fit right around your headrest and can hold up a lot more weight than you expect. I usually always hang my purse on it, but I’ll even put some of my groceries on it if it’s possible.
8) Desktop Vacuum Cleaner
You may think this is unnecessary, but have you ever decided to clean out your desk drawers and you find lots of crumbs and dust in it? Yeah, me too. And this thing is the perfect size for cleaning it. Seriously, if you have a desk at home or even at the office this is a very small and effective tool for cleaning up dust, hair, crumbs, etc.
9) Heatless Curler
Again, I don’t know what witchcraft was placed upon this item to make it work so well but holy curls, Batman! If you are one of those folks who doesn’t like to add a ton of heat to their hair (like me), this is a great way to get beautiful overnight curls.
11) Handheld Milk Frother
I am an iced coffee queen (she says sipping on her second of the day). And as much as I love a good Dunkin’ or Starbucks run, I know that saving money by making coffee at home is important. So I got this milk frother because it helps achieve that perfect iced coffee blend. Plus, if you want to actually froth your milk and do that fun whipped coffee trend, you’re going to want one of these.
P.S. it’s also great for making chocolate milk!
12) Seat Gap Filler
Do you know how many times I’ve lost my credit card or cell phone into the abyss that is the seat gap? More times than I can count, so when I got this I didn’t realize how incredible it was going to be. Not only do I not have to contort my hand into unnatural angles to get my items back, but they’re not going completely under the seat anymore. Seriously, these are great just don’t forget to clean them out every now and then because you and I both know French fries will end up in them.
13) Electric Candle Lighter
I know, I know, you’re probably like “why would I need this when I can just buy a lighter?” I thought that at first too. Trust me, I was on Team “we have real lighters,” let’s not be heathens about this. That all changed when my friend got one. She convinced me that this TikTok gadget was an essential. Think about all of the times you’ve lost a lighter and needed one. Or even how often you’ve run out of fuel? The good news about this is that it’s electric meaning it’s rechargeable.
14) Ice Roller For Face
For all of my acne friends, this is really great for you. This will help take the swelling out of your face. It’s also really nice for super hot days. I just keep it in the freezer most of the time and pull it out when I need a cooldown or when I need to reduce any swelling in my face.
15) Grout Scrubber
Yes, just yes. This is worth it and yes it does help. If you are one of those people that really need to make sure the whole shower is super clean, you need this. It’s great for cleaning the bathroom sink, shower and tub, and I honestly don’t know how I did cleaning before it.
16) Olive Oil Dispenser
Again, I know it looks silly, but seriously it’s actually genius. It’s super easy to use and it makes slicking your frying pan that much easier.
18) Bedside Carafe
Okay, this is one of those products that just makes me feel fancy. I am always thirsty at night and keeping this by my nightstand has been really helpful. And yeah, part of me bought it because I wanted to feel like I was living it up in a luxury hotel, but it’s still a really great find and very helpful for anyone who just wants to be lazy in bed.
19) Couch Console Tray
I can’t believe how awesome this is. I only go this recently after seeing a few TikTokers with one and I love it. Not only does it hold your snacks, remotes, and drinks, but it helps prevent spills. The drink holder rotates and is weighted so it holds your drink in place to make sure it doesn’t spill on you. Come on that’s genius!
22) Retractable Refrigerator Ziplock Bag Storage
My fridge isn’t big. It works, but it’s not big enough for what I need. So sometimes I have to use the “dead air” space in the fridge and that’s where this handy little guy comes in. This sticks to your fridge shelf and allows you to add up to 9 Ziplock bags that can be suspended. This has been helpful for snacks for me. I usually put carrots, grapes, or strawberries in little baggies and then add them to this, but this can be used for any type of zip-sealed bag.
23) Mop & Broom Handle Gripper
It seems so simple, but listen I never would have gotten it if I hadn’t seen people on TikTok using them. These are so helpful for hanging your brooms and mops. Now you don’t have to worry about finding a corner to jam them into or falling down. And if they do fall down, expect that to be your friendly house haunt just giving you a heads up that they’re there.
24) Handheld Steamer
Whether it’s for clothes or your bed, having a handheld steamer is honestly such a lifesaver. I really like using this on my comforter after I make my bed, especially on those reset days when I’m doing a very good clean for the weekend.
