Exercise Can’t Compensate For Poor Diet
A new study by the University of Sydney reveals that exercise can’t compensate for a poor diet.
Researchers studied people with good and bad diets before concluding that people with good diets have a 17% lower death rate, a 19% lower cardiovascular disease rate, and a 27% lower cancer rate.
Associate Professor Melody Ding says, “Both regular physical activity and a healthy diet play an important role in promoting health and longevity.
Some people may think they could offset the impacts of a poor diet with high levels of exercise or offset the impacts of low physical activity with a high-quality diet, but the data shows that unfortunately, this is not the case.”
