NEW YORK, NY - JULY 4: People watch Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks from Brooklyn Bridge Park on July 4, 2015 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. The celebrations mark the nation's 239th Independence Day.

The 4th of July is almost upon us, and I can’t wait to enjoy fireworks! If you’re wondering where you can go in the area for some great views, food, and fun, try some of these fun options!

On July 1 from 6 to 10 pm, Franklin Township will be celebrating with games, food, family fun, and fireworks! It’s being held at the Municipal Building at 475 DeMott Lane. For more info, go to the township’s website.

Montville’s annual fireworks show will be July 1 after a full day of music! For more information, go to the All Events website.

The Perth Amboy festivities  begin July 2 and you can actually spend the whole day on the waterfront at Sadowski Parkway, with food, arts and crafts, and live music; or enjoy the museum, Tea Room and gift shop at the Proprietary House, the Royal Governor’s Mansion. At 9:20 pm the fireworks show begins over the water for a spectacular view!

The Scotch Plains Annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration  is a free event at Scotch Hills Golf/Shady Rest Country Clubhouse, , 820 Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains. The rockets Red Glare start at 7pm, and food vendors will be there!

The annual Youth Sports Festival in North Brunswick will have their annual fireworks show July 2nd at 10 pm just off Rt 1 North in North Brunswick, by DeVry. for ore info, go to Their website!
