Why Did James Cromwell Superglue Himself to the Counter of a Starbucks?
Oscar-nominated actor James Cromwell superglued himself to the counter of a Starbucks cafe in New York yesterday to protest the chain charging extra for plant-based milk. Cromwell, who is best known for starring in “Babe” and “L.A. Confidential”, read a statement that said: “When will you stop raking in huge profits while customers, animals and the environment suffer? When will you stop penalizing people for their ethnicities, their morals? Save the planet, save the cows. Stop the vegan upcharge now!”
Tom Brady will join Fox Sports when he retires from football. He is going to be their lead analyst. Joe Buck and the network’s former lead analyst, Troy Aikman, both signed deals with ESPN to do ”Monday Night Football”. Brady’s 10-year contract is worth $375 million. Buck and Aikman are making a combined $33.5 million with ESPN. The Action Network says Brady will be the third highest paid broadcaster in television history behind Judge Judy and Oprah.
Netflix is going to launch a less expensive version of their service. The new service is expected to premiere before the end of the year and will feature ads to offset the service’s low cost.
