10 St. Patrick’s Day Drinks You Can Make At Home

This St. Patrick’s Day may be different than usual, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to celebrate! Check out the ten drinks below for the adults or kids in your life to enjoy this St. Patty’s.
1. Shamrock Slush (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups lime sherbet
- 1/4 cup frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1-1 1/2 cups lemon lime soda
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Green sugar crystals (optional)
Directions:
- Add your ingredients into the blender and go until they are a smooth texture. Top your slush with some green sugar crystals for that extra Irish feel! (optional)
2. Lucky Charm Shots (alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- Whole milk
- Lucky Charms cereal
- Baileys Irish Cream
- Sprinkles
- Vanilla frosting
Directions:
- Combine some of your Lucky Charms cereal with milk for about 10 minutes so it gets flavor from the cereal.
- Use a strainer to remove to cereal from milk, pouring the milk into a glass.
- Stir Baileys into the cereal-flavored milk to make the drink portion of the shot.
- Take some of theLucky Charms cereal and crush it along with the sprinkles. When crushed, dip the shot glass rim in vanilla frosting. Then, dip the shot glass in the crushed cereal mixture.
- Pour the Baileys milk into the shot glass and enjoy!
3. Shamrock Shake Replica (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 6 drops green food dye
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- Cherry (optional)
Directions:
- Add your ingredients, not including whipped cream or a cherry, to the blender and mix until combined.
- If desired, add whipped cream and a cherry on top to serve up the perfect milkshake!
4. Baileys Irish Floats
Ingredients:
- 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup Guinness beer
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish cream
- Chocolate syrup
Directions:
- Add your ice cream into a tall glass. Pour the Guinness beer and Baileys over the scooped ice cream.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over your float and repeat this process until you have enough drinks for everyone!
5. Sparkling Cucumber Limeade (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1 cucumber (cut into thinly sliced pieces)
- 2 cups sparkling water
- 1 cup sugar
Directions:
- Combine your sugar, lime zest and water into a medium sized pot on medium heat. Stir the ingredients together until the sugar is fully dissolved. Take off the heat and add mint leaves into the mixture. Let this rest for 30 minutes.
- After your lime syrup has been sitting for 30 minutes, strain the mint leaves out. Then, combine the syrup with your lime juice and cucumber slices.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour and when you’re ready to enjoy, add in sparkling water and serve it iced!
6. Green Beer (alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- Your favorite beer
- Green food dye
Directions:
- This one is pretty self explanatory but adding some color to your favorite beer is one way to get in the Irish spirit for St. Pattys!
7. Lucky Charms Cereal Milkshake (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 1/2 cups Lucky Charms marshmallows
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Extra Lucky Charms cereal (optional)
Directions:
- Crush your Lucky Charms marshmallows or blend in a food processor until they are powdery.
- Pour milk into a large bowl and stir in powdery marshmallows. Let this sit for about 20-30 minutes at room temperature.
- Add the ice cream, vanilla extract, and marshmallow flavored milk into a blender and mix until it’s a smooth texture. (Extra cereal can be added in if desired)
- Pour your delicious shake into a glass to enjoy just like Lucky the leprechaun would!
8. Green Apple Sangria (alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- White wine
- Ginger Ale (Club soda, champagne, or sparkling water are alternatives)
- Granny Smith apples
Directions:
- Slice your apples however you prefer (thinner or thicker), and place at the bottom of your pitcher.
- After the apples are in, pour in the wine and ginger ale. Mix these two together and let chill for about 2 hours.
- Take out of the fridge and enjoy your sangria!
9. Magic Green Irish Punch (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 6 scoops lime sherbet
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 oz lime juice
- 2 liters lemon lime soda
- Ice
- Lime slices (optional)
Directions:
- Using a blender, mix your sherbet, water, sugar, and lime juice until they are a smooth texture.
- Pour this mixture into a punch bowl and add in the lemon lime soda and ice. Mix this all together until it is evenly spread out.
- Throw in some lime slices to make the mixture even more green and serve it up!
10. Fuzzy Leprechaun (alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Peach Schnapps
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 1 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz orange juice
- 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- Cherry (optional)
- Orange (optional)
Directions:
- Pour ingredients, excluding cherry and orange, into a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well mixed and strain into a glass.
- Top your drink off with some cherries and oranges, then enjoy!
