Law enforcement officials are warning people about a new pandemic scam. With the start of Joe Biden’s presidency, hackers are sending out a new email that claims people are entitled to pandemic relief money. The Email invites people to click on a link so they can enter their Social Security number and other personal information.
The police are warning; “Once you’ve provided this information, the site claims that you will be contacted regarding your aid. Don’t be fooled! Anything you enter here is sent directly to the cybercriminals.”
