Martha Stewart Was Accused Of “Jumping The Line” To Get The COVID Vaccine, And She Responded On Instagram
Netflix has just announced several movies that will make their way to the streaming platform in 2021 but with it will be price hikes. According to Netflix, the streaming service will see their popular standard plan go from $12.99 to $13.99 and includes two simultaneous streams and access to Netflix’s high definition library. As for the premium plan, which features four streams, will go from $15.99 per month to $17.99 per month. The basic plan will remain at $8.99 per month. Some of the movies coming to Netflix in 2021 include, “Don’t’ Look Up” with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cate Blanchett, “The Guilty” starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Burr, and Ethan Hawke, “Moxie” with Amy Poehler and Clark Gregg and “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” starring Megan Fox, Corey Feldman, and Kevin Clash.
Calls for anyone 65 and older to take the COVID Vaccine are beginning to take shape and that would mean Martha Stewart would be eligible to receive the vaccine, but some fans are not pleased with her “jumping the line” ahead of others. In an Instagram post, Martha revealed that she received her vaccine at a vaccine pod near the Martha Stewart Center of Living near Mount Sinai. “I’m so proud of and grateful to the doctors, nurses, medical staff who are wading through the red tape and confusion of the distribution of these very important vaccines,” said Stewart. It was that statement that led people to believe that Stewart had received preferential treatment. However, Martha responded by saying, “I am in the approved age group for this batch of vaccines and I waited in line with others.”
Bruce Willis was recently booted from a Los Angeles Rite Aid for refusing to wear a coronavirus mask. Shoppers became upset with the actor because he had a bandana tied around his neck and not over his mouth or nose. Bruce walked out of the pharmacy without his purchases. Bruce released a statement saying, “It was an error in judgment. Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up.”
