New York Mets’ Max Scherzer To Sponsor Dog Adoption Fees At Animal Welfare Center In Somerville
I may be biased because I absolutely love pets and the New York Mets, but this news coming out of our own backyard is pulling at my heartstrings.
New York Mets player Max Sherzer and his wife Erica are sponsoring the adoption fees for all dogs (over 30 lbs) adopted from the St. Hubert’s Welfare Center now through Sunday, June 19th.
The adoption center is located in Madison, New Jersey, and is in critical need of adoptive homes for dogs. They are also calling for fosters who can temporarily open their homes to our shelter pets.
You can scroll below to see just 8 of the adorable fur babies out of the approximate 40 available right now for adoption.
