New Jersey Ranked Top For Haunted Homes
Halloween is the time of year to get your scare on and besides hayrides and corn mazes one of the best ways to really get into the spirit of Halloween is by going to a haunted house. Well what better State to do that in than right here in New Jersey.
However, would you ever live in a home that was haunted by creatures of the night? HomeAdvisor looked across the country to determine the probably of you buying a house that’s Haunted and New Jersey ranked at the very top! You have a 30.2% chance of the next home you buy already having some ghosts living in it, or it being downright creepy.
The State that came in second was strangely Ohio, but that doesn’t mean that Jersey is creepy by any means in fact the team at Home Advisor ranked the top ten least creepy and most creepy states, The Garden state wasn’t on either lists top ten so being somewhere in between is something I can live with. It wasn’t hard to see this as the outcome as New Jersey is one of the smallest states on the east coast but we also have a plethora of spooky urban legends like the elusive Jersey Devil and Goat Man bridge.
While the overall national average for homes that may or may not be haunted is just 13% when you consider that it’s across the entire country.
