Have You Seen This?

In this photo illustration, Krispy Kreme Donuts are seen on May 09, 2016 in Miami, Florida. JAB Holdings Company, announced it is acquiring Krispy Kreme Donuts in a deal valued at $1.35 billion.

Today is National Doughnut Day, which means that chains like Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme are offering free or discounted doughnuts, along with other giveaways like “free doughnut for a year.”

Incidentally, both “doughnut” and “donut” spellings are being used on social media. While “doughnut” is the actual spelling, Dunkin Donuts changed how many people spell it.
