During his appearance on Fallon’s show, he and the host joined The Roots and performed a medley of his hits with classroom instruments. Timberlake has been a guest on the show ten times. ETITW marks Timberlake’s sixth album and the first in six years. His last project was reuniting with *NSYNC to release “Better Place” for the Trolls Band Together soundtrack back in September, marking the group’s first musical release since 2002. Prior to that, he reunited with Timbaland in April after 20 years. Timbaland previously stated that the sound of the new album will be like 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds. “It’s fun Justin,” he said. “But nothing too heavy, just giving you what you expect from us.”
