Man Hides $30 Million Lottery Win From ‘Lazy’ Family
I do not know about you, but I have been daydreaming about winning the big Powerball Jackpot. I have been thinking of how I would take care of my family members and friends. Just think how great it would be to no longer have to get up when the alarm goes off to get ready for work! We would also have financial freedom for life! I came across this story and thought if I were married to this guy and he never told me he had won the lottery, I would be so mad that I could not even express it in words. Fortune Magazine says a man from Southern China recently won a $29 million-dollar Lottery jackpot. The man kept his winnings a secret from his wife and child because he feared they would become lazy. He said, “I didn’t tell my wife and child for fear that they would be too complacent and would not work or work hard in the future.” The man’s wife and child found out about the winnings after he was photographed picking up his check at a lottery office. How mad would you be if your spouse or parent the lottery winnings from you?
By the way, no one matched all six numbers in Monday night’s Powerball drawing so the jackpot is now worth about 1.2 billion dollars! This is the 38th week in a row that no one has won. this is the fourth largest jackpot in U.S. history according to lottery officials.
