Can You Believe This is New Jersey’s Favorite Chocolate Covered Treat?

Chocolate, flowers and cards usually fly off the shelves for Valentines Day, but with the economic turmoil causing people to tighten up their spending, merchants are hoping for a good turnout this year. With Halloween and Spooky Season starting up we want to kick things off right by talking about chocolate. Because everybody and their mother knows that if you put chocolate on a treat, it makes it better. But what treat do we New Jersyans, prefer to put chocolate on?
Shane Co. Has done it once again by looking at Google trends for every state to determine what treat they prefer to put chocolate on and the results personally were shocking for some states, as in the Midwest and South bacon of all things was the clear winner. Is chocolate covered bacon really that popular? Well, us over here in the the Northeast preferred a mix of fruits and berries such as Strawberries, Banana’s and Cherries. With New Jersey however, just like with pizza, we chose Pineapple to cover in chocolate.

Now while I may not totally love pineapple on pizza, I can get behind chocolate covered pineapple. What I cannot get behind are some of the other strange choices on the list like Florida which chose Popcorn and North Dakota which chose Potato Chips. I think they took the expression ‘Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it’ a bit too seriously here, but maybe it’s secretly the best food combination of all time. To find the full study Click Here
Overall, Bacon was the leading amount with nine states, Banana was second with eight states and Almonds was third with six. A close race, but I suppose if nine states say it’s good, there must be something there with Bacon. Though it does make you wonder what type of chocolate each state is using for their respective treat? So, do you agree with this study and what is your favorite treat to cover in chocolate? Halloween is the purrfect time to dress up and get candy for yourself and your community so we hope you keep updated on all the tricks and terrors with us at Magic 98.3
Twitter Reacts To McDonald's New Adult Happy Meal
For those who remember what it was like to get a happy meal when they were a kid will now be able to relive some of that childhood nostalgia as McDonald’s announced they are making a happy meal for adults.
They even come with toys of some characters from the 1998 show ‘The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald’ this happy meal dubbed the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box because of their partnership with streetwear company will offer consumers a choice of either a big mac or 10-piece nugget with fires and of course one of their four figurines.
The figurines include McDonald’s classic mascots, which include the Hamburglar, Grimace, and Birdie, and a new character named Cactus Buddy. This limited-time offer will be available in McDonald’s stores, drive-thru locations, by delivery, and on the McDonald’s app from Oct. 3 through Oct. 30.
While most people wouldn’t mind this play by Mcdonald’s, some think the design of the toys is creepy and have been taking full advantage of the toys’ weird design by making memes on the internet, but what do you think about this possible McHorror Story? Take a look at some posts we found and let us know.
