The New Upcoming YouTube Original ‘In Space With Markiplier’ Is Insane

It’s been about a week since YouTube sensation also known as Markiplier released the trailer for his next big project. Teaming up with YouTube yet again for another large-scale YouTube original series. This one is titled In Space with Markiplier.  

The official trailer has already gained nearly three million views as well as earning nearly 400,000 likes. This was aided by Markiplier, hosting a nearly five-hour long livestream where he watched the trailer one hundred times. 

This isn’t the first time Mark has worked on a large-scale project like this either creating a chose your own adventure series titled A Heist with Markiplier back in 2019. That YouTube Original featured Mark as well as a large set of other well-known creators such as MatPat, SodaPoppoin, Rosanna Pansino, etc. With 31 different endings in his previous series, some fans are expecting this new one to be double the size.  

Like all the previous series Mark has made, you will be in the POV of someone close to Mark making all the decisions and ultimately changing the outcome of the story. We even see some returning cast members like Bob Muyskens a longtime friend to Mark. Here’s what we know about the story so far.

You are set in space aboard a ship named the Invincible where you either are the captain or take the role as Captain as tragedy strikes the ship. Using your quick wits, you must make decisions that will either save or harm the crew as you try to uncover what went wrong.  This will certainly be a fun family adventure that Mark, has had in the works for a long time. 

In space with Markiplier will be available next month on April 4th 2022. Markiplier currently sits at thirty-two million subscribers and is still one of the top channels in gaming. Fans are divided after finding out that Chris Hemsworth is set to play the lead villain in Mad Max: Furiosa. Kyle Buchanan’s tell-all book Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild and True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road revealed that Hemsworth will play the lead villain in the upcoming prequel film.

Per The Independent, Warner Bros. pushed back the film’s release date by a year to May 24, 2024 (it had originally been set for June 2023). George Miller is returning to write and direct the film, which is being touted as Australia’s biggest production ever. The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy is set to play the lead role as Furiosa, which was played by Charlize Theron in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Tom Burke are also part of the cast.
