Do Older Parents Have Better Behaved Kids?
Researchers are studying whether older parents equal better behaved children. Americans are waiting to have children more than ever with the average age of new mothers being 26, up from 21 in 1971.
Men are becoming fathers at an average age of 31, back in the 70s it was 27. A Netherlands study of 32,000 kids between the ages of ten and 12, claims that older parents have children that experience fewer behavior problems such as aggression.
Although older parents had more education and a higher income level, it didn’t necessarily affect children’s behavior.
