A House Built With Magic
Magic 98.3 is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity again for our second annual, “House Built With Magic”event.
This October 12th and 13th, join us and the Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity as we build a house for a deserving working family in New Jersey and make the opportunity to own a decent and affordable home a dream come true.
Become a volunteer and help us bang some nails.
We welcome experienced people and professionals to help us build. However, no experience is required! It costs a few bucks to become a volunteer and that money goes to help provide the materials for the build. Drywall, nails, and other supplies cost money, so instead of asking you to bring that stuff, we’ll go out and buy it and have it ready on build day. CLICK HERE to get signed up to volunteer!
Sponsor a volunteer.
If you don’t have the time to be able to join us at the build, you can simply donate to help cover a bunch of supplies. CLICK HERE to make a donation.
Become a corporate sponsor of the event.
If you have some swing with your boss (or if you are the big boss) then we’d love to put your business’ name up in lights as a big sponsor of this incredible event. CLICK HERE to email us with your info or call 732-681-3800 (ext. 330) and ask for Jackie.

ABOUT RARITAN VALLEY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
About Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity:
Our Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes. We advocate for fair and just housing policies and providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
Our Mission:
Habitat for Humanity International is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry with the goal of making decent, affordable housing available to every family worldwide. Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity (RVHFH) is committed to achieving that goal in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.
Why Affordable Housing?
Affordable housing is one of the most pressing needs facing central New Jersey. According to the Coalition on Affordable Housing, a family needs to earn $46,560 to afford fair market rent of $1,164 for a two-bedroom apartment in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. More than 25 percent of area families fall below this income threshold. As a result, many hard-working central New Jersey families are forced to spend too much of their income on housing, leaving too little for food, clothing, health care, and other necessary expenses.
