Marvel Studios is about half way done with their phase four lineup which has lead to one of the most successful years rivaling their phase three lineup with films such as Avengers: Endgame which continues to be the second highest grossing film worldwide.

But Phase four has had their own success in both the television and film industry, with hits like Loki and Wandavision. But also with Spiderman: No Way Home, which sits as the sixth highest grossing film worldwide, but the third highest grossing film. And Marvel isn’t even done with more big ticket films and television series either upcoming or in the near future.

Let’s take a look at what we know about the upcoming Marvel series.

  • Moon Knight

While Moonknight isn’t one of the most well known characters within the entire Marvel universe, he is still an cool and mysterious character that got his chance after fans fell in love with in appearance when he appeared in the 1975 issue of Werewolf by Night #32.

His series which will be streaming on Disney+ next week March 30th looks to be as action packed as fans hope with the masked vigilante looking as stunning as sever.

  • Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness

Fans were excited to see the return of doctor and magic users Dr. Strange, in Spiderman: No Way Home, but now since his debut in the 2016 film Dr. Strange, he will be the main focus of this film which releases in early May.

The plot as far as we can tell will be the good doctor, trying to fight off a creature after he casted a forbidden spell that has effectively opened up the multiverse. This film takes place after No Way Home and the events of Loki, meaning we may see some familiar characters appear to help fight off this new advisory.

  • Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel is an upcoming original series that will feature an old concept of inhumans as well as show the life of a fairly new character that being Kamala Khan who appeared in the 2013 issue of Captain Marvel #14.

Fans are excited being able to see something never really explored in this series as marvel tries to fix some of the errors of older concepts either didn’t pan out or we’re portrayed correctly. Either way Ms. Marvel appears to be a great story about someone learning and accepting a new life of having powers. The series is set to begin streaming June 8th. But this will also act as a set up for the 2023 film The Marvels.

  • Thor: Love and Thunder

It has been about five years since we last saw our loveable god of thunder have his own film with the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok, however fans are waiting to find out more information on the film.

However, Marvel has yet to release any information, not even a trailers leaving some fans anxious and wondering if this will be a record for marvel releasing the trailer till when the movie actually releases. Currently held by the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk, at around 93 days from trailer release to actual movie release. Thor: Love and Thunder has already taken the number two spot.

Right now Thor: Love and Thunder is still set to release July 8th 2022. Meaning there are only 109 days left. Supposedly fans will receive the trailer this week, but until then, all we know is the Guardians of the galaxy as well as Russel Crow as Zeus will someone be involved. As well as a new foe played by Christian Bale, Gorr the God Butcher, another more recent character that appeared in the 2013 issue of Thor: God of Thunder #1 and has appeared in a few other comics involving Thor.

  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

We still have alot of time before we hear anything about the follow up to the 2018 film Black Panther , however this is certainly one of the films in phase four that fans will be keeping their eye out for.

After the tragic passing of actor Chadwick Boseman, fans wondered what future the character of t’challa would be as far as live action films. As far as we know his sister Shuri played by talented actress Letitia Wright may take the mantle as the Black Panther as she faces her own challenges of ruling Wakanda.

Until then Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is still expecting a November 2022 release date.
