New Jersey To Lift School Mask Mandate In March

Governor Phil Murphy will officially eliminate the mask mandate for schools during a coronavirus briefing today (February 7). The new policy will go into effect on Monday, March 7. According to the New York Times, after two years of  it being a part of their daily life, students and school employers will no longer have to wear masks in the state of New Jersey. Governor Phil Murphy posted the following statement to Twitter: Effective March 7, the statewide mask mandate in schools will be lifted.
