Halloween Movies and Shows New to Steaming this Weekend
The Netflix logo is displayed on a laptop screen.
With Halloween arriving next week, this weekend is going to be a big Halloween movie-watching weekend. My wife and I have already started. So far, this past week we watched Get Out, Jaws, and Nightmare on Elm Street. It looks like we’ve got two or three more to get to.
There are quite a few new movies and TV shows that are streaming this weekend that you may enjoy. Here are a few of them on various streaming services depending on which ones you have a subscription to.
Netflix
Absolute Beginners: During their last seaside summer before heading to film school, two childhood best friends encounter an aspiring athlete who sparks newfound passions within them.
Life on Our Planet: The tale of Life on Our Planet is brought to you by executive producer Steven Spielberg and the Emmy Award-winning crew responsible for Our Planet.
Hulu
American Horror Stories: This four-episode event is part of Hulu’s Huluween celebration.
Prime Video
The Exorcist: Believer: Fifty years after the original film changed horror movies forever, The Exorcist: Believer is ready to scare you senseless.
Saw X: It’s time to play another game with John Kramer. Jigsaw is back in the new film Saw X.
Apple TV+
The Enfield Poltergeist: Experience the true story of the world’s most famous poltergeist case in this chilling docuseries.
Paramount+
Monster High 2: The ghouls are back and better than ever as they protect their pack in this new film.
Peacock
Five Nights At Freddy’s: The world-famous video game brings its robots to life in the new film Five Nights at Freddy’s.
If none of these work for you, you can always turn to the classics. Aside from the three I mentioned above, there are many other classics you can enjoy.
Here’s hoping you have a fun and spooky streaming experience this weekend.
Which Halloween Candy You Should Like Based on Your Astrological Sign
Every year our kids dress up and knock on strangers’ doors and ask for candy. Free candy! They just walk up and people they’ve never met before give them sweet treats, it’s arguably the best idea ever. We could complain that they don’t always get the candy we want, and sometimes it’s not even candy! Apples, pretzels, potato chips, and sometimes some loose change they have sitting around the house, what’s wrong with these people?
If you could choose your favorite what would it be?
According to a study by Coventry Direct, New Jersey’s overall favorite is Raisinettes. I always hoped for a Zagnut, but that’s another story. I say Zagnut is my favorite, but according to the New York Post, being a Scorpio the stars say it’s not.
The Zodiac is divided into twelve signs…
AQUARIUS (January 20 to February 18), PISCES (February 19 to March 20), ARIES (March 21 to April 19), TAURUS (April 20 to May 20), GEMINI (May 21 to June 20), CANCER (June 21 to July 22), LEO (July 23 to August 22), VIRGO (August 23 to September 22), LIBRA (September 23 to October 22), SCORPIO (October 23 to November 21), SAGITTARIUS (November 22 to December 21), and CAPRICORN (December 22 to January 19).
Here’s what they say your favorite candy SHOULD be based on your Zodiac sign…
