For those of us who grew up on Super Mario Bros. and have a favorite character, it’s interesting to learn which characters are the favorites of our friends and neighbors as well.

Everybody loves Super Mario Bros. and the wait is over for the Super Mario Bros. Movie being release today! “Mario first appeared as Jump Man in the classic 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong. In 1985 Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the Mario universe, introduced the Italian plumbers (Mario and his brother Luigi) as the heroes of the original Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Entertainment System” Soon we’ll see our favorite Italian plumber and his colorful crew of pals.

The movie stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Jack Black as Bowser. It also features the amazing Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.

In honor of the release of the movie, the team at baby brand Chicco set out to discover which of Mario’s friends is the most beloved in each U.S. state using Google Trends data. So what are New Jersey’s favorites in the Mushroom Kingdom?

In the battle of the Princesses who do we prefer, Princess Peach or Princess Daisy? Daisy is New Jersey’s favorite and first appeared in the 1989 game “Super Mario Land” for Game Boy, and has since appeared in a number of other Mario games, including the Mario Party series, Mario Tennis, and Mario Golf. Daisy is a very close friend of Peach.

What about the choice between Mario or Luigi? Luigi is the preferred Mario brother in New Jersey and Overall. He is the taller, thinner, and younger brother of Mario. Luigi first appeared in the 1983 arcade game Mario Bros.

New Jersey’s favorite Mario character is Wario. Wario is usually Mario’s rival and first appeared in the 1992 game “Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

WrestleMania: 10 Interesting Facts About 'The Showcase of the Immortals'

WrestleMania 39 kicks off tomorrow, and the Showcase of the Immortals is going “Hollywood.”

Taking place over the course of two nights on April 1 and 2, WrestleMania 39 will emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The event will feature packed cards on both nights including Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes and Charlotte Flair defending the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley

Additionally, fans will see a Hell in a Cell match between Edge and “The Demon” Finn Balor and a six-woman tag team match with Damage CTRL taking on Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita.
