LeBron James Named TIME’s 2020 Athlete Of The Year
LeBron James is TIME‘s 2020 Athlete of the Year.
The magazine made the announcement today (December 10) while also showcasing a new portrait of the NBA player by Tyler Gordon for TIME.
“After nearly two decades in the NBA, LeBron James has fully embraced that his talent on the court is a means to achieving something greater off it. And this year, more than in any before it, he showed why he is unrivaled in both,” TIME shared to Twitter.
James recently signed a contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers for a reported $85 million. The 35-year-old also won his fourth NBA championship in October.
