Earthquake In New Jersey, 4.8 Magnitude North Of Whitehouse Station
Just before 10:30 AM Friday, New Jersey residents were rocked by a 4.8 Magnitude earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey, just 7 KM North of Whitehouse Station, is where the earthquake’s epicenter is located. The organization says the depth of the quake is about 4.7 kilometers.
Social media is blowing up following the morning’s events, with residents of New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut chiming in saying they felt the impact of the shake.

According to the organizations’ intensity map, the highest point felt is about a grade 5.
At this time. There are no tsunami warnings in effect.
